Wild flowers of wayside and meadow, still life from direct observation, inspire and challenge in equal measure. The fall of light reveals a saturation of colour unequalled. Light and shade on still life objects creates beautiful drama.
Having trained in the classical method, initially at London Fine Art Studios, and workshops with professional artists,. I came to full time painting, 2019. Previously, Further Education tutor in art, print making and felt making, 15 years as lead tutor, teaching a range of mixed media from water based to encaustic.
